Although founded in Taiwan, it’s easy to mistake Hazukido for a Japanese brand. It does, however, adopt the Shokunin spirit of Japan by selecting the highest quality ingredients like Japanese Centenary flour and European premium Elle & Vire butter to create its croissants

In Japan, the Shokunin spirit means to achieve the perfect execution of a skill. In the case of Hazukido, the brand aims to achieve excellence by creating buttery croissants.

Singaporeans who frequent Malaysia will already be familiar with the brand, as it has established a presence there since 2019. It is also Halal-certified in both Taiwan and Malaysia. Thus, it is highly likely that Hazukido will attempt to attain a Halal certification here.

Hazukido will open at Takashimaya, Ngee Ann City, Singapore.
