Few Kpop idols of this generation hold as much sway over mainstream entertainment as much as Lee Ji-eun, otherwise most popularly known as IU, does. Since debuting at 15 her success has been nothing short of monumental, taking after triumphs from a string of best-selling EPs and albums that have earned her the title of ‘the nation’s little sister’. With her best-selling HEREH World Tour landing in Malaysia, local fans will finally be able to relish the magic IU has been known to bring to the stage in person with her upcoming concert.

Kicking off in March of this year with a series of concerts across two weekends in Seoul, IU was joined by a handful of major guest acts, including TikTok sensation NewJeans and Record of Youth heartthrob Park Bo-gum. Subsequent performances followed in Yokohama, Taipei, and neighbouring Singapore, before the star pivoted to Banten in Indonesia and Hong Kong after.

With her most recent production in the Philippine Arena at Bocaue, IU is expected to finally make her way to local shores in Kuala Lumpur on June 8th. Before you ask, yes, tickets were officially sold out on the same day they were made available after hopeful fans crashed the site in hopes of nabbing an opportunity to catch the South Korean songstress live. This tour marks her return to the stage since 2019’s Love, Poem Tour.

If you count yourself among the lucky few who successfully beat the odds to secure a ticket, here’s everything you’ll need to know to prepare for the upcoming IU HEREH World Tour concert in Malaysia. After all, preparation is the mother of all success, as the adage goes.
