Making its debut splash in Singapore this year is the iconic water music festival WATERBOMB. Originating from South Korea, the city-state will hold WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2024 on 24 and 25 August 2024.
The recent rising heatwave in Singapore may be unpleasant, but it sets the stage for locals to get soaking wet at WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2024. The popular summer water music festival from South Korea will debut in Singapore this year in August 2024 across two days, and will see popular K-pop acts like Bambam and Sandara Park headlining.
Earlier today (12 April), OTT platform Viu and Evergreen Group Holdings announced the 2024 festival in the city-state. Presented by UOB, which will showcase over 10 popular South Korean and Singapore artists.
According to a press release, the festival is expected to draw more than 20,000 festival-goers from Singapore and the region over the two-day festival.
The presence of WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2024 was first teased when its social media accounts were first created back in March 2024.
WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2024: Dates, ticket prices, line-up, and more
WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2024 is confirmed to be held for two days on 24 and 25 August 2024 at Siloso Beach, Sentosa. The festival will feature upbeat music genres like pop, hip-hop and EDM performances alongside complementary water-based entertainment and games on the grounds.
Attendees can also look forward to an experiential beach village by WATERBOMB, designed in collaboration with official experience partner, INVADE.
As for the line-up, expect some of the most prolific names in Korean music to make an appearance. K-pop singers BamBam, BIBI, KWON EUNBI, Sandara Park and VIVIZ, as well as K-hip-hop rapper Kid Milli and viral South Korean dance crew TEAM BEBE have been handpicked to deliver spectacular performances. Thai singer SORN, as well as local talent such as emerging pop-R&B sensation lullaboy, seasoned rapper ALYPH, and singer-songwriter Haven will also on hand to deliver the grooves and moves.

Tickets for WATERBOMB festival in Singapore 2024
Standard tickets will go on sale for the public from 10 May, with tickets priced at S$198 for a one-day pass and S$338 for a two-day pass. As the presenting sponsor, UOB will be offering a pre-sale for standard tickets on 9 May, for local and regional debit and credit cardholders (click here for details on eligible cards). All tickets will be available through official ticketing partner, KKday.
What to know about WATERBOMB water music festival
Since 2015, WATERBOMB has been hosted almost yearly in various cities across South Korea. The water music festival also recently expanded to cities in Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
Held during the summer season, WATERBOMB combines the best of K-pop, K-hip-hop, and EDM with refreshing water games. The festival has seen prominent acts performing on its stage over the years. For instance, this year’s line-up for its Seoul stop includes TWICE’s NAYEON, SHINEE’s Taemin, Jay Park, Hwasa, Grey, Loco, Jessi, Zico, Sunmi, and many more.
