Following its first-ever Spring 2025 show in Shanghai, Balenciaga has launched a collaboration with the racing video game Need for Speed Mobile as part of a partnership with TiMi Studio Group and Tencent.
With the official license granted by Electronic Arts (EA), the linkup features both in-game content and connected physical merchandise. Revealed so far in NFS Mobile are custom car liveries designed by Balenciaga, character looks selected by Demna, and decals and locations which reproduce landmarks such as Balenciaga’s London flagship store and the House’s forthcoming Shanghai flagship in Taikoo Hui.
Physical merchandise from the series, including hoodies, tees, and caps, are now available exclusively at select Balenciaga’s WeChat mini-program, on balenciaga.cn, and in-person stores in China. Each piece of merch contains an NFC chip which can be scanned to obtain in-game benefits.
Need For Speed Mobile is now available for iOS and Android devices in China featuring over 150 cars from 30 automakers. A global launch is set for later this year.
