Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny is always in fashion. Whether we spot him on the stage, at a talk show, on the red carpet or on the streets, his fits are the freshest on the grid.
This 30-year-old king of urban music rose to take the spot of a style icon at a pretty young age and has been dressed by brands like Burberry, Jacquemus, Gucci, Maison Margiela and Calvin Klein.
Bad Bunny’s style is a fine example of not playing by the gender rules when it comes to fashion and yet keeping it as alpha as it can it. While, many pieces in his wardrobe blur the boundaries between feminine and masculine, his grooming game is also quite up-to-the-minute. From crazy cornrows to experimenting with different buzz cut hairstyles and throwing in a bunch of statement accessories to amp up his look, the musician – whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – is always pushing the style boundaries.
On that note, we take a look at Bad Bunny’s best looks – from street style and off-duty fits to his iconic red carpet appearances.

At the Met Gala 2023, which celebrated late legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld, the rapper opted for an all-white tweed suit that featured a daring cutout back design from the luxury label Jacquemus and styled it with matching platform leather derby shoes. Bunny slicked back his hair with tons of gel and accessorised his look with pearl stud earrings, a silver chain necklace, and a flowing, 26-foot-long rosette cape.
Icon behaviour, we say!
Bad Bunny’s dramatic Maison Margiela Met Gala moment
Since we are on the subject of appreciating Bad Bunny’s style for fashion’s biggest night, let’s glance through his rather dramatic ensemble for the 2024 Met Gala, which celebrated ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’.
The pop star, who was also the Met Gala co-chair, turned heads in a custom Maison Margiela Artisanal look by John Galliano that featured a midnight blue jacket with black grosgrain lapels and red silk ribbon inseam lampasse trousers. Black leather gloves, silk socks, a midnight blue foam hat and a black barathea wool flower bouquet further elevated his iconic look. For shoes, he went for Tabi boots worn with spats that were specially created by Christian Louboutin.

A chic Gucci moment in 2023
While Bad Bunny’s style mostly leans on the wild side, he has also given us some really chic fashion moments like this white collared button-down shirt and blue jeans outfit that he wore at Gucci Ancora during Milan Fashion Week in September 2023.
A black vintage Gucci handbag, matching dress shoes, sleek black sunglass, golden hoops and a beige beanie were a few elements that he subtly incorporated into his look to amp it up without taking away from its simplicity.

Moving from the many red carpet moments to Bad Bunny’s stage style, the dude doesn’t disappoint. The Puerto Rican rapper returned to the stage in 2024 with the Most Wanted Tour and turned heads in a white jacket and trouser set that featured golden beads and fringes all over the outfit. An edgy headgear that resembled a cape and a stack of statement necklaces rounded off his look.
He had also sported a similar concert look for another show in the colour black.
Mugler Corset Hoodie for Coachella 2023
Bad Bunny took on the stage during Coachella 2023 in a custom-made Mugler outfit for his final performance at the music festival in April. The Latin trap artist’s outfit featured a top that was a combination of a corset and a hoodie that he paired with a black leather jacket and fitted black trousers with a safety-buckle style belt.
Even his trousers had a sheer detailing on the thighs and the corset had the classic cut edge to it. Well, now if this isn’t high fashion we don’t know what is.
His look was the courtesy of stylist Storm Pablo who had styled another badass quilt jacket look for the rapper during the Coachella weekend.
Bad Bunny’s street-style favourites
When it comes to off-duty looks, you will see Bad Bunny opting for more baggy and loose fits that are often paired with street style elements like a cap, sneakers and a tote bag as seen in this look.
And on days when he is not in a big mood to spend too much energy in crafting a look, a pair of sweats and hoodie works just as fine for the rapper. We are not complaining!
