However, it’s not as difficult to decode the mystery that once surrounded Orry, thanks to the dating trail that the two hot brothers – Veer and Shikhar – have left behind in Bollywood.
While Shikhar is famously dating bonafide hottie, Janhvi Kapoor, Veer has in the past been rumoured to have dated actor Sara Ali Khan and is currently making waves for his alleged romance with actor-model Manushi Chillar.

Their family background and political roots
Shikhar and Veer Pahariya are the sons of renowned business tycoon Sanjay Pahariya and Smruti Sanjay Shinde, a producer and the managing director of Sobo Films. While their parents separated long back, they raised the boys together.
An intriguing detail of their family’s political connection that makes them popular amongst the who’s who of Mumbai is that their mother, Smruti, is the daughter of Sushil Kumar Shinde, the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Shinde’s other daughter, Praniti Shinde is also a politician and a member of the Congress party. The Shinde family has played a significant role in the Indian National Congress for decades now.

Besides working with his dad in their family business, Shikhar is a horse rider and a professional polo player. He is rather passionate about the sport. In 2013 as a member of the Royal Jaipur Polo team, he also represented India at Berkshire Polo Club London. However, despite his apparent lavish lifestyle and famous relationship link-ups, the dude is not that active on social media.
Veer Pahariya’s Bollywood debut
On the contrary, his brother Veer Pahariya, is all about the limelight. He has 78K followers on his Instagram and is all set to make his Bollywood debut alongside Akshay Kumar in the film Sky Force. The film also features Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan (his ex-girlfriend).
Before acting, Veer also worked as an assistant director on the film Bhediya (2022) where he not only was an AD but also a body double for actor Varun Dhawan. Shikhar is dating actress Janhvi Kapoor and the two have been making waves in the media lately. They have been spotted together at temples, movie screenings, events, family gatherings and most recently grabbing the spotlight at the Ambani wedding.

There has been very little to speculate about their relationship with the media as their social media banter, leaked cosy pictures and the big reveal on Koffee With Karan season 7 have set the record straight about them being an ‘item’.
Also, at the screening of Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan in April 2024, Janhvi wore a necklace with Shikhar’s nickname ‘Shiku’ confirming the relationship.
Talking about the famous KFK reveal, the brothers’ names became popular after show host Karan Johar hinted at Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor having dated siblings in the past.
“I am tracking back to before the pandemic. I don’t know the level of your friendship today, but I don’t remember there being any. I remember that you both have dated siblings before…” KJo had said in an episode of season 7, leaving both actors visibly shocked. Johar continued, “I mean it was the past. You both dated two brothers. And the commonality between the three of us is that they both used to live in my building.”

As for Sara, she later in an interview with Filmfare admitted to being in a relationship (in 2016) with Veer before making her Bollywood debut. She confessed, “He’s (Veer) the only one I have dated. I have had no other boyfriends in my life.” She also clarified that Veer did not “break her heart” when they parted ways.
Veer is currently rumoured to be dating former Miss World Manushi Chhillar. The two were seen dancing their heart out at Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony.
