Right after the high-flown Met Gala 2024, the fashion parade jet-setted to the French Riviera for the 77th Cannes Film Festival. While the movie premiers define the prestigious ceremony, the fashion moments on the red carpet make an equal number of headlines.
Continuing the stylish streak of the season were Hollywood stars like Chris Hemsworth, Adam Driver and Barry Keoghan, all impeccably dressed and immaculately bejewelled, as they graced this year’s red carpet.
While some followed the strict dress code, black tie and jackets for men, others defied the memo in a rather fashionable way, so it’s all okay!

Barry Keoghan touched down on the Croisette for the premiere of his 2024 movie Bird at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival. Sporting a Burberry number, the Saltburn star suited up in a black collared grey tailored jacket and trousers paired with a white pleated plastron shirt.
Prateik Babbar’s special style tribute to his mother
Indian actor Prateik Babbar, who is quite the dapper dude, was also spotted at the Festival de Cannes to attend the special screening of the 1976 film Manthan, which starred his late mother Smita Patil. Babbar shone in a clean all-black tuxedo on the red carpet but a quirky detail about his look was the black and white scarf on his neck that belonged to his mother. What a memorable style moment, we say!
Chris Hemsworth in a pink suit
Next on our best-dressed men at Cannes 2024 is the Aussie hunk Chris Hemsworth who gave us a pink Tom Ford suit moment. Hemsworth took on the red carpet with Anya Taylor-Joy to attend the premiere of their film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga at the film festival.
His fit looked somewhat similar to the yellow suit he had sported – as a co-host – at the Met Gala earlier this May, but we love the fact that he chose to wear flattering blush pink.

International influencer Rahi Chadda walked the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga red carpet in a rather audacious brown leather jacket, which he had layered over a cream button-up. Courtesy of the New York-based fashion line Luar, the jacket/top was shaped with balloon sleeves, four bold front pockets, and fabric that extended above his shoulders — making up for an unconventional fashion choice.

Keeping up with the black tie and suit jacket theme, Adam Driver arrived at Cannes 2024 to promote the big screen epic Megalopolis in a white wool silk Burberry jacket paired with a matching silk shirt, black wool tailored trousers and a bow tie. A Piaget Polo Date on his wrist rounded off his very old-school Cannes look.

Another best-dressed man at Cannes 2024 was American model Alton Mason, who attended Martin Scorsese’s Megalopolis screening in a kitschy grey suit designed by Louis Gabriel Nouchi. His outfit featured swirled print from top to bottom and a perfectly baggy fit that created a unique – relaxed yet cinched from the waist –structure. Mason finished his look with pointy boots and a tiered necklace.

Heartstopper actor Sebastian Croft attended the Miu Miu Summer Club at L’Ecrin Plage in Cannes serving a bunch of cool looks. From a Miu Miu off-beige trucker jacket and matching trousers number to a leather suit jacket paired with a mesh tank, the young actor clearly meant fashion business at the prestigious film festival.
Omar Sy’s style versatility on the red carpet
French actor Omar Sy who was also a member of the 77th Cannes Jury served an array of sharp looks on the red carpet. One of the looks of Sy that we loved was this custom white Louis Vuitton jacket with pearl detailing that he sported at one of the screenings at the esteemed French ceremony.
