To some, it’s 22 men chasing after one ball. To others, it’s worth staying up to 3am for. If you fall into the latter camp, here are bars to watch the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament in Singapore.
The UEFA European Football Championship, or simply Euro 2024, started on 14 June (15 June in Singapore). The once-in-four-years competition sees 24 European men’s national teams compete against one another in knockout rounds until the finals on 14 July (15 July in Singapore). The 17th edition is being hosted by Germany with matches taking place in 10 cities.
When is the Euro 2024?
The first match of the Euro 2024 took place on 15 June at 3am SGT. The group stage lasts until 26 June, followed by the round of 16 from 29 June to 2 July. The quarter-finals happen on 5 and 6 July, then the semi-finals on 9 and 10 July. The final will kick off on 15 July at 3am Singapore time. Euro 2024 teams
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, England, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine.
Italy is the defending champion after winning the Euro 2020. Georgia is the only team making its Euro 2024 debut.

Local online broadcaster Mewatch has a streaming package of all 51 matches for S$108. Alternatively, head to these bars to watch the Euro 2024 in Singapore. Bar Soccer is kicking off its Euro 2024 coverage with a live screening of the Hungary and Switzerland match on 15 June. The event will also feature football game titles like EA Sports FC, as well as free food and drinks (get tickets here). Following that, the venue will be showing matches and keeping fans fuelled with beers on tap (from S$12++) and pizzas (from S$13.90). Private screenings can also be arranged.

There are sports bars, and there is Cafe Football. The venue makes The Beautiful Game central to its theme from the decor to dishes like Hat Trick (meatballs, tater tots, and tomato pasta) and Kallang Wave (nachos with chilli beef). To drink, there are draught beers (from S$13++) and beer buckets (S$45++), together with cocktails such as the Football Sling (S$18++). Cafe Football has branches at East Coast Park and Woodleigh, and the latter has football pitches for rent.

For parties between two to four people, Harry’s has a Euro 2024 food and drink deal consisting of a pizza, chicken quesadilla, fries, nachos, chicken wings, and a Heineken tower for S$99++. The bar is also offering promotions on gin, cognac, and whisky (bottles from S$128++) and a trivia night with Chivas 18 as the first prize.
Harry’s Boat Quay, Chijmes, Clarke Quay and Holland Village outlets will show the 9pm and 12am matches, and the Angullia Park and Cuppage locations will broadcast the 9pm, 12am, and 3am games. If you find yourself at the airport, the T2 and T3 branches will also have them on TV. See details here.

Lau Pa Sat is showing all the Euro 2024 matches on a 130-inch LED screen – that’s almost three times your typical 55-inch TV. During the period, Satay Street will be open till 3am and Food Folks @ Lau Pa Sat will be serving bites like Irvin’s famed salted egg snacks and Uncle Saba’s poppadoms. There will also be Tiger Crystal Beer promotions and a live band entertains in between games.

The Stamford Brasserie has a match day-only food menu that it serves during live screening of the Euro 2024 games. From the first kick off to the finals, dine on dishes like buffalo wings (S$24++), chicken satay (S$26++), and cheeseburger (S$30++), as well as vegetarian options such as jackfruit gyoza (S$24++). Drinks from a bucket of six Tigers (S$60++) to bottles of The Macallan (from S$340++) are available.

Vue is transforming its bar area for live screenings of the Euro 2024 matches from the group stage to the quarter-finals fuelled by cocktails and grilled dishes. For the early games at 9pm, dine on grilled dishes like USDA beef short ribs (S$38++) and pork belly skewers (S$26++), washed down by cocktails (from S$26++) and wines. After 10:15pm, the establishment switches over to a late-night menu featuring shoestring fries (S$18++), grilled cheese (S$18++) and chicken wings (S$26++). No minimum spend is required.
