To be held at the Padang again, Singapore’s National Day Parade (NDP) 2024 theme is “Together, As One United People”. Here’s how you can win tickets to attend NDP 2024. But first, a little disclaimer: This is only valid for Singpass holders.
Fans of the SAF Red Lions parachuters and NDP majestic fireworks display, here’s your chance to get the best seats in the house. Registration for tickets to Singapore’s National Day Parade or the two preview shows before is now open. Returning to the Padang, the venue will host an estimated 27,000 spectators for each show.
Singapore will celebrate 59 years of independence and 40 years of Total Defence in 2024.
How to get tickets to the National Day Parade (NDP) Singapore 2024
Application for tickets to Singapore’s National Day Parade 2024 opens today (May 27) and will close on June 10 at noon (SGT).
According to the NDP 2024 executive committee, only Singapore citizens and permanent residents can apply. They can register for two, four or six tickets for the actual parade on August 9 or either one of the preview shows on July 27 and August 3, respectively.
All applicants must also have a valid Singpass account to register. The committee expressed that this “uses Singpass MyInfo for automated form filling and reduces fraudulent attempts to obtain personal information through fake application forms.” Singpass MyInfo will submit information including name, NRIC, and contact details.
Tickets will not be awarded on a first-come-first-served system. Instead, applications will undergo an electronic balloting system to determine successful registrants. Every application has only one ballot chance. Thus, any new or numerous attempts will override the previous application, and the latest sole submission will be recorded.
One ticket also admits only one attendee. Children, including infants, will also require a valid admission ticket. Tickets are strictly not for sale and action will be taken against parties who do so.
Successful applicants will receive an email notification from ndp2024@klook.com between June 21 and June 25.
“Recipients of any notifications from NDP 2024 should beware of emails sent from other addresses as they could be scams or phishing attempts,” said the committee.
In addition, this year’s NDP celebrations on August 9 will extend to Promontory @ Marina Bay. This expansion is part of a collaboration with the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Tickets and details to access this section for the NDP event will be announced soon.
