It’s been a long time coming for fans of alternative music band Radiohead. The British group’s frontman and main vocalist, Thom Yorke, will make his solo live debut in Singapore in November 2024 for his ‘THOM YORKE: SOLO Playing – work from across his career’ tour.

Hailed as one of the most iconic alternative rock bands in modern times, Radiohead has spawned classic hits like ‘Creep’, ‘Paranoid Android’, and ‘There There’. But the solo music works of its frontman and main vocalist, Thom York, are equally celebrated.

The talented 55-year-old English singer-songwriter-producer has released three critically acclaimed solo albums and produced soundtracks like Luca Guadagnino’s 2018 horror film ‘Suspiria’.

Radiohead’s frontman and main vocalist Thom Yorke will be staging his first solo concert in Singapore on 5 November 2024 at The Star Theatre.

On 3 June, Yorke announced on social media the countries he will be heading for his ‘THOM YORKE: SOLO’ tour. They include Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Fan club and Lushington ticket presale will begin on 5 June, 10am, while general ticket sales will start on 6 June, 10am onwards. All ticket sales will be available via Ticketmaster.

Ticket prices start from S$98 to S$248 (excluding booking fee).

Yorke will kick off this tour on 23 October in Christchurch, New Zealand and end on 26 November in Kyoto, Japan.

For the music setlist, hints were given on the Instagram post, reflecting that he will be “playing work solo from across his career”.

“I will be alone on stage trying a new kind of solo show thing playing versions of songs from my recent and not so recent past,” Yorke expressed in a caption on his Instagram post.

Best known as the frontman and main vocalist of English alternative rock band Radiohead, Yorke first went solo in 2006 with his debut studio album ‘The Eraser‘.

Following this, he recorded two more solo studio albums, 2014’s ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes‘ and 2019’s ‘Anima‘.

Yorke also formed a new band, Atoms for Peace, to perform his solo material from his debut album live. This band consists of musicians Godrich and the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s bassist Flea. They released an album, ‘Amok‘, in 2013.

Throughout his career, Yorke has collaborated with notable musicians such as PJ Harvey, Björk, and Flying Lotus. He is also involved with producing soundtracks for films like ‘Suspiria’ (2018) and ‘Confidenza’ (2024).
